  Problem description

   The LDAP Modify Password Extended Operation in OpenLDAP
   contained a bug which could crash the LDAP server under
   certain circumstances. This package contains a fix for the
   problem and changes the server to return an appropriate
   error message under these circumstances.

  Solution

   Please install the updates provided at the location noted
   below.

  Installation notes

   This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be
   installed onto a running system by using this command:

     rpm -Fhv openldap2.rpm

   After that please restart the LDAP service with:

     rcldap restart
